WARNING: WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT SCAMMERS ARE IMPERSONATING TRIFECTA WITH FAKE JOB OFFERS ON INDEED AND OTHER PLATFORMS. WE WILL NEVER REACH OUT VIA SMS, TEXT MESSAGES, TEAMS, OR SIMILAR FORMS OF COMMUNICATION. WE ARE NOT RECRUITING ANY STAFF OUTSIDE OF HONG KONG AT THE MOMENT. WE WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO PERFORM WORK. DO NOT RESPOND OR PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION. IF YOU HAVE BEEN CONTACTED, PLEASE FILE A POLICE REPORT AND REPORT THE SCAM TO IC3.GOV.

THIS CONDUCT IS CRIMINAL, AND TRIFECTA WILL BE PROSECUTING AND PRESSING FEDERAL CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST ALL INDIVIDUALS RESPONSIBLE.

We have been informed that scammers fraudulently impersonating with our company have been contacting job seekers using fraudulent job postings, impersonated names, fake onboarding materials, and false instructions involving financial information and check deposits.

Please be advised:

• Any job offer, interview request, or onboarding communication involving Trifecta for a role based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or any country outside Hong Kong is fraudulent.

• If you have been contacted by anyone claiming to represent Trifecta in this manner, please immediately file a police report in your jurisdiction and report the scam to the FBI at IC3.gov. Do not respond, do not provide personal information, and do not deposit any checks or make any payments.

• Please also report fraudulent job postings directly to Indeed or the platform where you encountered them.

TRIFECTA WILL NEVER:

• Ask you to perform paid or unpaid tasks as part of an interview or evaluation process

• Request that you deposit checks or disclose banking information

• Communicate recruitment or onboarding instructions via SMS text, Whatsapp, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, or any informal messaging applications

• Ask you to purchase equipment, gift cards, or software as part of the hiring process

• Contact you from personal phone numbers, non-corporate email addresses, or unverifiable accounts

All legitimate communication from Trifecta will:

• Come from an official @trifecta.vc email domain

• Relate exclusively to roles in Hong Kong

• Follow a formal recruitment process conducted by our internal team

• NEVER involve financial transactions, equipment purchases, or personal financial disclosures

If you believe you have been targeted, please save all communications you received (emails, text messages, screenshots, check images, etc.). These materials will assist law enforcement.
